Good base for exploring the mountains and very helpful staff.
Had to drive everywhere - eg, shopping and restaurants - as the local village had no amenities, and felt the hotel was a little short-handed as we had to always look for staff.

Hotel Rural Las Calas was very friendly and casual hotel we really liked to sit by the pool when we returned late afternoon.
Our room was a little too dark and we would of liked a door on the bathroom

The hotel’s location is perfect for nature enthusiasts. the surrounding area may not be the most attractive, but it’s close to hiking trails and centrally located in the island. Guests can easily spend their weekends at the San Mateo marketplace. the rooms are spacious and clean, with nice bathrooms and great views of the countryside. the hotel provides excellent breakfast and offers other facilities, such as a swimming pool, that guests can enjoy.
The hotel staff's English skills can be limited, making communication a bit difficult.

The hotel's location was perfect for Easter hiking and exploring the surrounding area. the gardens were beautiful, and the pool area was a great spot to relax after a day of activities. the rooms had nice bathrooms and were comfortable to stay in.
Breakfast wasn't included in the room rate, which we thought was quite expensive. the shared kitchen wasn't very well equipped, making it difficult to prepare meals.

The hotel location was up in the hills, which provided a nice cool atmosphere. , the breakfast was enjoyable and had a good selection of food. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable.
The rooms lacked natural light and were quite cramped. the noise was a big issue since the walls were thin and we could hear pretty much everything going on next door.
